While most restaurants pay lip service to the word organic, when we say organic whenever possible we mean whenever possible not whenever convenient or cost-effective. To nurture your body to optimal health it’s imperative that we avoid exposure to synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, antibiotics, hormones, and genetically-modified organisms.
About Fresh House
Fresh House was started because our founder felt there was a need for more great-tasting healthy organic food options in the downtown Portsmouth area. He had been eating healthy ever since age 18 when he started to deal with health issues as a result of undiagnosed Lyme disease. Since then he has continued to learn and appreciate the crucial role diet plays in lowering systemic inflammation, boosting antioxidant levels, and increasing one’s energy, mood, ability to focus, and most importantly in increasing quality of life by preventing disease and extending healthspan.
